Why did you think of McDonald's? Probably because whether you like it or not, the hundreds of millions of dollars that MacDonald's has spent building their brand name has paid off...You recognize that brand. And actually the WHOLE world recognizes that brand. The key word here is brand. Branding is what differentiates one product from another of a similar types.


This is no different when it comes to Internet Marketing, branding yourself and your name is the little-known secret that 99.9% of other marketers don't "get", but it can pay off for you big time when used effectively.This Brand becomes your USP (Unique Selling Proposition). Your uniqueness... that something that separates you from all the other people promoting the same program you promote.


Attraction Marketing is all about being yourself, and learning how to get your target market to want to do business with you because of who you are. When you do this right, your prospects start to flock to you, and most often without hesitation. And those that won't join you in your business or that don't buy your product right away, over time, you'll communicate with these prospects and "drip" helpful information to them , and they'll want to join you eventually because they'll see you as the expert / mentor they desperately seek and need. They're attracted to you because of the WHO you are, and how you can help them get what they want.


Now, one of the biggest questions we get asked from people promoting home opportunities is, "Kathy and Ken, you have lots of experience that I don't have, so where does that leave me, and how do I brand myself on the Internet when I haven't had any success yet?"


It's a great question. And our answer comes from what We've learned when it comes to promoting home opportunities and products...


Most people don't care as much about how much you know until they know how much you care. This really is true... What we've also found is most of us think we don't have anything of value to share with prospects when we're new, and we have a difficult time recognizing the knowledge and experience stored in our heads. especially the "Boomers". Boomer's may not have all the technical expertise, but they sure do have the life experience piece covered. They can bring a lot to the table in this internet world.


Then it hit us like a ton of bricks! Even though we missed the mark at times, and tried a lot of things that didn't work, we accumulated a lot of knowledge along the way that would be beneficial to others, to help them avoid the pitfalls we went through and the mistakes we made.


The fact of the matter is we ALL have experience. We collect experiences all the time just by being alive... and when you sit back and think about what you've learned so far in your life, you might be surprised just how much valuable knowledge you have to offer to others.


Once you realize this and you continue on the path of learning about your new business day to day, you will be surprised at how quickly you can contribute to the success of your partner's and teammates. Learning how to communicate your unique abilities and learning where to put that information on the internet will go a long way to establishing your brand. Let's face it people like to do business with those they know, like, and trust. You will be able to communicate that through the information and training tips you provide on your blog, or Facebook, or Twitter, You Tube. This Social Media avenue is a great way to get people to know who you are.. Also by staying in touch with your list through daily emails with tips and ideas they will find useful will further cement your value to those looking to do business with a professional and successful internet marketer.
